What are 1:1 sessions? This 1:1 session provides a safe space for client's to heal emotionally, mentally and physically. They are fully customized to the needs of each individual client. One focus is to bring awareness to stagnant emotions, traumas and belief systems that are impacting the subconscious mindset. The subconscious mind is the hub of our life decisions. It is where we process emotions, it's where we store past experiences, as well as learned behaviors. It controls our actions, habits and beliefs. By becoming aware of these belief systems and discovering the origin of them we can begin to reprogram the subconscious with a variety of exercises and practices that will reshape the mindset to be in more alignment with your true soul's purpose. You’ll walk away with clarity, peace, and practical next steps for your path.

What is Reiki? Reiki is a gentle yet powerful Japanese energy healing technique that works with the body's seven chakra centers and major meridians for the purpose of reaching a state of homeostasis which is where optimal healing takes place. Homeostasis is the state in which your body reaches a stable internal environment. We all hold a universal life force energy (known as Ki or Qi) within us and practitioners channel that life force energy into recipients' energy fields and meridians. The energy is not forced into the recipient rather intentionally received by the client. Each session is intuitively guided to align your energetic body, remove energy blocks, and promote healing on all levels. This divinely guided energy has a consciousness of its own, always going where it's needed the most. This gentle, yet powerful technique addresses health issues on an emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level simultaneously. The effects of reiki are cumulative and results vary depending on a client's needs and willingness to accept the healing energy. BELIEF makes it most effective. Reiki can address specific areas of the body, but it is important to understand that most physical complications of the body are related to stagnant emotions that need releasing. Reiki allows the body to release those emotions to get the stagnant energy flowing through the body. So emotional reactions are a positive sign of this healing release. It is important to understand that healing will take place according to what you need.

At Willow Well we specialize in Celestial Usui Reiki, which makes us unique to other reiki practitioners. Mikao Usui, founder of Usui reiki, channeled reiki healing frequencies from divine celestial beings. This specialization allows the channeling to come direct from these higher beings bringing in higher frequencies resulting in a more powerful transfer of energy.

What to expect during your session?

Most clients experience one or more of these sensations during treatment: relaxation, tingling, pulsing, calmness or warmth. It is possible that it can cause a client to fall asleep, which is just as effective. A sleep state indicates deep relaxation and the opportunity for the body to enter rest and recovery mode.
Preparing for your reiki treatment: It is recommended to wear loose clothing to allow the energy to flow with ease. If possible, please avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours within your scheduled treatment. Also, coming to your treatment hydrated will be beneficial as well. Are there any contraindications of reiki?

Reiki does not interfere with other healing modalities. It is becoming more widely accepted and available in healthcare settings. It is even gentle enough for pregnant women and childbirth.

What are results clients have experienced from reiki?

Reduced stress, alleviated pain, reduced muscle tension, healthier sleep patterns, increase in emotion intelligence, increase in mind clarity, and stronger immune systems. To name of few.

Reiki energy can never be forced into anyone, rather received by the recipient. Results can present in many different forms, having an open-mind and willingness to allow your healing to present in the way in which it chooses will assist in positive results.
